For the past 45 years, Warner Guiding & Outfitting has been guiding pack trips into the heart of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Located in Banff National Park, our horseback trips offer the best of mountain riding.Local trail rides offer a quick getaway at a relaxing pace for those looking for a short experience on horseback. Our hourly rides depart daily from Warner Stables or the Spray River Corrals in the Banff town site. Our BBQ cookouts offer a taste of the west for the whole family with a Mountain Morning Breakfast ride or Evening Steak fry available by horseback or covered wagon. The Explorer Day Ride and Rundle Mountain Ride are just the right excursion to spend a day by horseback taking in the views from Sulphur Mountain and the Spray River Valley.
Backcountry pack trips are available from 2 – 6 days to remote wilderness tent camps or backcountry lodges. These trips allow gusts to emerge themselves in mountain and western culture. Spectacular views and vistas abound on daily rides; campfire camaraderie and home-cooked ranch style meals are a few highlights of the experience. Wilderness tent trips spend time in 3 semi-permanent tent camps with rustic rail corrals, A-frame canvas tents and a large kitchen tent for socializing. Lodge trips enjoy the comforts of a cozy lodge, wood stoves, wool blankets and an unbeatable front porch view. Adventure Expeditions take the outdoors enthusiasts all over the park and establish new campsites daily in the most remote areas of the backcountry.
Other activities such as carriage rides in downtown Banff, sleigh rides during winter, and Sundance Lodge open for cross-country skiing during the winter months keeps us busy all year! For an hour, for a day or for a week, we’ve got an adventure for anyone!
