Kootenai Brown Pioneer Village
Explore Southwest Alberta’s frontier history through the boardwalks of time. Relive the experiences of our pioneers in a turn of the century historic village. Guided tours of 12 original cabins and homes displaying over 18,000 artifacts give a glimpse of how the area was settled in the 1870s. Show-cased are Kootenai Brown’s log cabin, the famous Waldrond Ranch House, NWMP horse barn and line cabin, 1894 one room Fishburn School, Blacksmith Shop and the Lacombe Hermitage 1886.

Located in the centre of Pincher Creek on the creek. Its a wonderful place to stop for a picnic and enjoy an afternoon. Open year round. May to September, 8:00 am to 8:00 pm weekdays, 10:00 am to 8:00 pm weekends. September to May, Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
