Chester Mjolsness' World of Wildlife
Discover the Wonders of the World of Wildlife Exhibit!

Chester, a native of Sundre, retired from the sawmill industry in 1980. He has gone on a number of safaris around the world collecting well over 150 species of animals, including Africa's big five. View these mounts from all continents of the World displayed with backdrops painted to depict the animals’ natural habitat.

From Alaska to to the serengeti’s of Africa – more than ninety exciting wildlife and habitat scenes illustrate our planet’s amazing diversity. These breathtaking exhibits capture moments in time, showcasing our world’s amazing animals and the delicate ecosystems which they dwell in.

Located in Sundre’s Pioneer Village Museum, the Chester Mjolsness World of Wildlife exhibit has been designed to provide visitors, young and old alike, with the knowledge and appreciation of preserving our wildlife resources.
