The Cowboy Trail Market is Alberta’s newest approved Farmers Market. Enjoy the beautiful mountain view as you arrive and leave this friendly market. Grab a picnic table and enjoy sampling the fresh produce you found.
Bring buying local to a new level and join with many others who are helping to build food security by supporting our local farmers. Our vendors are also the people who make bake and grow the items on offer.
We’re open every Saturday and Sunday from May 7, until October 9th weekend, 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm. This is a great place to find fresh locally grown vegetables, fruit, beef, pork, chicken, eggs, honey, home baking and preserves. Local crafters and artisans, along with local entertainers make every market special. With a local meadery, a brewery, and a distillery each shopping visit has something new to offer.
Located only 2 km from the historic Cowboy Trail, this market is a must see during your Hi-way 22 adventure this summer, or a last stop when making your way home following a West Country visit.
Many special events happen during the markets throughout the season (as Covid-19 rules allow), including muscle and antique car shows, motorcycle rallies, wagon rides, big machine shows and local country bands.
This year, a portion of the table fees will go to the Sundre Hospital Futures Committee. This local hospital foundation raises money for equipment and programs for the Sundre Hospital.
