These two businesses together offer a terrific venue for local breweries and distilleries, great food trailer summer comfort food, and awesome specialty coffee’s. We have it covered….and did we mention The Black Diamond Bandstand offering free live music throughout the summer months. For over 22 years The Stop Coffee House and Gathering Place has been serving locals and tourists from around the world with gourmet coffee and home baked goods. The Stop, as it is affectionately known, also has a long standing reputation for offering some of Canada’s best small venue live music. Artists like Barney Bentall, The Sadies, Devin Cuddy & Sam Polley, Big Dave McLean, Fred Eaglesmith, are a few names to mention. The Feed Lot has quickly become a favourite for many with its food trailer grub of top notch, hand pressed, Alberta beef burgers, and hand cut fries sliced right in the trailer. There is something for everyone….we’ll finish with a little secret…there is a whiskey room known as Philosophers, but to find out more, you’ll have to ask a local.
