Our sleigh rides are the perfect way to make the most of the season with family and friends. Snuggle under warm blankets as our gentle horses guide you through snowy forest trails, stopping by the buffalo viewing pen and our Teepee Village along the way. After the ride, warm up around the fire, roast marshmallows, or pop into our gift shop for a hot drink or local souvenir. We offer a variety of activities to cater to every guest’s desires! For thrill-seekers, our “Surf & Saddle” package combines horseback riding with white-water rafting, featuring a 2-hour Ridge Ride followed by a hearty steak or hamburger lunch. Afterward, embark on an exhilarating rafting adventure on the Kananaskis River for a full day of excitement.
If you prefer a unique experience, consider our popular “Woof & Hoof” package, where you’ll enjoy dog carting pulled by Snowy Owl’s Huskies, a 1.5-hour Valley Vista trail ride, a tour of our wildlife museum, and a traditional BBQ burger lunch.
Every day, we offer guided trail rides through the spectacular Kananaskis Country. Options range from the 1-hour Buffalo Loop—where you’re guaranteed to see our bison pen—to the scenic 1.5-hour Valley Vista trail. Our most popular ride, the 2-hour Ridge Ride, treats you to breathtaking views of the Rocky Mountains and Mt. Kidd, creating the perfect backdrop for unforgettable photos. For experienced riders, we provide the half-day Trail Blazer ride, exploring deeper into the Kananaskis Range. Our full-day Adventure Ride allows you to take in the sights and sounds of the valley, complete with a delicious lunch beside a tranquil waterfall.

To reach us, take a scenic hour-and-a-half drive from the Cowboy Trail. Head west at Longview on Hwy #541 towards Highwood Pass, where you’ll connect with Hwy #40, the Kananaskis Trail. You’ll traverse ranch country and foothills, climbing to stunning views of glacier-fed lakes, untouched mountain peaks, and lush pine forests.
