It all began in 2006, when a collection of home brew equipment was discovered at a garage sale. From kits and bottle conditioning to all grain mashes and forced carbonation, Adam discovered his passion. Adam and his wife Brittney started going out of their way to find and sample every brew they could and try to recreate them at home. The world of craft beer began to open.
Along the way, Dan and Adam met over a mutual love of fly fishing, and what is fishing without beer!
Dan’s deep connection to Southwestern Alberta sparked his interest in developing a brewery here. Eventually the decision was made to take this vision to the next level. Adam spent a term at Olds College Brewery as an assistant brewer and this gave us the confidence to start what has become Oldman River Brewing.
Our relaxed and rustic taproom is family friendly and our patio is dog friendly. We have a newly renovated kitchen and an expanded menu that pairs well with our award-winning beer.
We are located in downtown Lundbreck AB just to the East of where Hwy. 22 and Hwy. 3 meet. Our taproom overlooks the honey-coloured Albertan plains where they meet the stunning Rocky Mountains.
With integrity, traditional values and solid business principles, we strive to give you a quality experience every time you visit. We offer you a journey into your tasting experience with our range of approachable to adventurous brews.
